The agricultural investment program, the so-called “Farmers' Billion”, has been launched. ISARIA sensors are also eligible for funding.

In order to adapt agriculture to the high requirements of agricultural production, the federal government is funding investments in the years 2021 to 2024, including machinery and equipment for fertilization and plant protection. Even the sensor systems ISARIA PRO Compact and ISARIA PRO Active are therefore eligible for funding.

The “Agriculture Investment Programme” is run by Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Food (BMLE) funded on the basis of a resolution of the German Bundestag. The project promoter is Federal Institute for Agriculture and Food (ptble).

Who is being funded?

Producers of primary agricultural products, i.e. whose business activity consists largely (more than 25% of sales revenue) in obtaining plant or animal products, are supported. Contractors are also eligible to apply.

What is being funded?

1. Modern machines and devices for fertilizer application, mechanical weed control and plant protection, including basic GPS equipment (e.g. ISARIA PRO Compact or ISARIA PRO Active)
2. Small (mobile) systems for separating liquid fertilisers using a press check or centrifuge
3. Reserves of farm manure, if they are not part of a stable construction project

When it comes to devices, make sure that they are part of the positive list of the Funding program are.

What is the level of funding for the agriculture investment programme?

The subsidy amounts to 40% of the net investment volume. The basic model ISARIA PRO Compact is available in combination with funding, for example, for less than 10,000 euros. This also makes it easier for companies with an area of less than 100 hectares to access the site-specific fertiliser or plant protection application.
